Training Program Overview
The IC Centre for Governance (ICCfG) is dedicated to promoting ethical leadership and good governance through a range of specialized training programs. These programs are designed for civil servants, including IAS, IPS, Railway officers, and managers from Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) such as NTPC, GAIL, Coal India, SAIL, Municipal Corporations, ONGC, and others. Our flagship offering is the 5-day Ethics module, which sensitizes administrators and corporate managers to the importance of ethics in both their personal lives and at the workplace. Approved by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Government of India, this module has been successfully conducted for senior officers and probationary officers of All India Services and Central Services of the Government of India. Over time, it has also been extended to officers from various State Governments and PSUs.
For over a decade, ICCfG has trained officers from diverse groups, including the Indian Administrative Services (IAS), Indian Railways, Indian Police Service (IPS), Class I Central Services, and State Government officials from Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, and Madhya Pradesh. We have also worked with various PSUs, with consistently positive feedback highlighting the impact of our training in promoting ethical governance and leadership.
To extend the reach of our Ethics module, ICCfG has conducted Training of Trainers (TOT) programs aimed at empowering trainers to impart ethical principles across various levels in Government Departments and PSUs. These include a TOT for 23 State Administrative Training Institutes (ATIs) sponsored by DoPT, UNDP-DoPT certification for retired and serving public functionaries as Master Trainers, and training sessions for Coal India officers. We’ve also collaborated with Indian Railways under the Mission Satyanishtha initiative to train senior supervisors involved in frontline service delivery.
Our programs cover essential topics, including:
- Ethics in Public Service: Understanding the crucial role of ethics in public administration.
- Towards an Ethical Work Culture: Creating an environment of integrity, transparency, and accountability.
- Karamchari to Karamyogi: Empowering civil servants to become proactive, ethically-driven professionals.
- Citizen Centric Governance: Designing policies and practices that prioritize the needs and welfare of citizens.

Our training programs are held across various locations, including Panchgani (near Pune), Lucknow, Bangalore, Manesar, Goa, and others, as required.
